Server Rules

Please follow these rules to ensure a positive experience for everyone

Community Guidelines

Our server is a family-friendly environment where players of all ages can enjoy Minecraft together

General Rules

  • Be respectful to all players. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, and offensive language are not tolerated.
  • Keep chat family-friendly. This is a server for all ages, so keep conversations appropriate for younger players.
  • No griefing or stealing. Respect other players' builds and items. Use the claim system to protect your builds.
  • No cheating or hacking. This includes X-ray, fly hacks, speed hacks, or any client modifications that give unfair advantages.
  • No spamming or excessive caps. Keep chat clean and readable for everyone.
  • No advertising. Do not advertise other servers, websites, or services in chat or builds.
  • Listen to staff members. Moderators and admins are here to help maintain a positive environment.

Important

Repeated rule violations may result in temporary or permanent bans from the server. We aim to maintain a positive and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Building Guidelines

  • Claim your land. Use the Open Parties and Claims mod to protect your builds from griefing.
  • Be mindful of build sizes. Don't claim excessive amounts of land that you don't plan to use.
  • Keep a reasonable distance between your builds and other players' builds (at least 64 blocks).
  • No inappropriate builds. Keep all constructions family-friendly.
  • Clean up temporary structures like dirt towers or scaffolding when you're done building.
  • Respect the natural environment. Replant trees and avoid leaving floating trees or massive craters.
  • No excessive redstone. Complex redstone machines can cause lag - see technical guidelines below.

Community Areas

Spawn area and other marked community zones are protected and should not be modified without admin permission. Feel free to use provided community farms and amenities!

Land Claims & Protection

  • To claim land: Use a golden shovel to select corners of your property (right-click to set corners).
  • Xaero's Worldmap support: Use the world map to claim your blocks
  • To modify claims: Use /claim modify while standing in your claim.
  • To add trusted players: Use /claim trust [playername] to allow other players to build in your claim.
  • Abandoned claims (inactive for 30+ days) may be removed by admins if necessary.
  • Server spawn and community areas are protected and cannot be claimed.
  • Claim disputes should be reported to staff members for resolution.

Parties System

You can create or join parties with your friends to share claim access and teleport to each other. Use /party create to start a new party.

Permission Groups & Parties

Our server uses LuckPerms to manage different player groups with varying privileges:

  • Default Group: Can create parties with up to 5 members and claim up to 5,000 blocks.
  • Premium Group: Can create parties with up to 10 members and claim up to 10,000 blocks.
  • VIP Group: Can create parties with up to 15 members and claim up to 15,000 blocks.
  • Party Management Commands:
    • /party create - Create a new party (all groups)
    • /party invite [player] - Invite a player to your party
    • /party claim - Create a party-owned claim (requires party leader permission)
    • /party promote [player] - Promote a party member to leader (leaders only)
  • Check Your Group: Use /lp user [your username] info to see which group you belong to.

Note

Upgrading your server rank will automatically grant you access to enhanced party features and claim abilities.

Technical Guidelines

Help keep the server running smoothly for everyone

Lag Prevention

  • Limit entity counts. No more than 50 animals or mobs in one area.
  • Redstone contraptions should be efficient and use lag-reducing techniques:
    • Use comparator clocks instead of repeater clocks
    • Add lever/button to disable machines when not in use
    • Keep hoppers to a minimum
    • Use storage systems with overflow protection
  • Auto-farms should have clear item collection to prevent item entities from building up.
  • Lighting should be used to prevent mob spawning in frequently visited areas.
  • Avoid massive entity cramming in one block space.
  • No AFK machines that bypass the AFK timeout system.
  • No chunk loading without admin permission.

Important

Staff may need to disable or remove contraptions that cause excessive server lag. You will be notified before any action is taken.

Allowed Technical Mods

Our server uses several technical mods that are pre-installed in our modpacks. The following uses are explicitly allowed:

  • Litematica: Schematic rendering, material lists, and building assistance features are all permitted.
  • Tweakeroo: Most features are allowed, but the following are prohibited:
    • Auto clicker features that place/break blocks automatically
    • Any feature that bypasses normal gameplay limitations
  • MiniHUD: All information overlays are allowed.
  • Item Scroller: All inventory management features are allowed.
  • Xaero's Maps: All waypoint and map features are allowed.

Note

If you're unsure whether a specific mod feature is allowed, please ask a staff member before using it.
