How to Use the Map

A guide to navigating and using the interactive server map

Basic Navigation

  1. Zoom: Use the mouse wheel or pinch gesture on mobile to zoom in and out
  2. Rotate: Right-click and drag (or use two fingers on mobile) to rotate the view
  3. Pan: Left-click and drag (or one finger on mobile) to move around the map
  4. Find Yourself: Click the compass icon to center on your current location
  5. Reset View: Double-click the compass icon to reset to the default view

Pro Tip

Hold Shift while scrolling to zoom faster, or hold Ctrl to zoom more precisely.

Map Controls

  1. Layer Toggle: Use the layers icon to show/hide different map elements:
    • Players - Show or hide player markers
    • Spawn - Toggle the spawn point indicator
    • Waypoints - Toggle community waypoints
    • Coordinates - Show or hide the coordinate grid
  2. Settings: Click the gear icon to adjust map settings:
    • Lighting - Day/night cycle or fixed time
    • Perspective - Orthographic or perspective view
    • Quality - Adjust rendering quality for performance
    • Fog - Toggle distance fog effect
  3. Map Type: Switch between flat map and 3D terrain views
  4. World Selector: Switch between different worlds (if the server has multiple)

Finding Coordinates

There are several ways to find coordinates on the map:

  1. Hover your mouse over any location to see the X, Y, Z coordinates in the bottom corner
  2. Click on a location to drop a marker and see precise coordinates
  3. Enable the coordinate grid from the layers menu

Note

Coordinates in Minecraft use this format: X (East/West), Y (Up/Down), Z (North/South). The spawn point is usually near coordinates (0, Y, 0).

Sharing Locations

  1. Navigate to the location you want to share
  2. Click on the exact point to place a marker
  3. Click the "Share" button or copy the URL from your browser
  4. Send the link to other players - when they open it, the map will center on that location
