Here's how players can advance through the permission groups:
From Default to Child
- Join the server for the first time
- Read and understand the server rules
- Chat with other players and demonstrate good behavior
- Ask a Moderator or Operator for promotion
- Moderators will promote players after verifying they understand the rules
From Child to Trusted
- Play regularly for at least 1-2 weeks
- Create some builds and follow server rules
- Help newer players and be respectful in chat
- Ask a Moderator or Operator for promotion after demonstrating responsibility
From Trusted to Moderator
Moderator status is only given to trusted adults who have shown exceptional responsibility:
- Be a long-term active member (usually 1+ month)
- Consistently help other players and understand server features
- Demonstrate maturity and fairness in player interactions
- Operators may invite trustworthy players to become moderators
From Moderator to Operator
Operator status is reserved for server owners and administrators:
- Must be a trusted server administrator
- Usually requires real-life connection to server owners
- Deep understanding of Minecraft server administration required
Note
Players cannot request Operator status. This role is only given to trusted administrators who help manage server infrastructure and configuration.
